What We’re Doing

We are an independany volunteer service organization with a mission to pair up visually impaired individuals with volunteer drivers

 

Our volunteers will pick up the individual and literally drive, during which time the driver will carry on conversation and even describe what they are seeing using descriptive language all the while.

Rules and Guidelines for Passengers

  • You must be a licensed driver
  • You must have insurance
  • Wearing seatbelts is a must
  • Be friendly
  • Keep you car clean
  • Be descriptive with what you see
  • Call or email and let us know how your ride went
  • Tell your friends!
  • Be on time and use GPS if you are unfamiliar with the address
